Rabies:-
Rabies, also called hydrophobia, is a viral infection which affects the neural
tissues. Transmitted by the saliva of infected dogs and other animals, rabies
manifests itself as deterioration of the central nervous system. Madness, foaming
at the mouth, and death often follow if treatment is not forthcoming.
